![]() It was not the worst I ever read, but there were holes in the plot, and the confict was not resolved to my satisfaction. The Dragon Heir The third thrilling installment of the Heir Chronicles series by New York Times and USA Today bestselling author Cinda Williams Chima. It felt like it was thrown together at the last minute then sent to the printers without a decent editing job. If purpose of this book was to tie together all the loose ends, it failed. I'd say 400 wizards against 5 children and an old man is desperate enough to give them some backup. ![]() Why would all the bad guys from all over the world come to wage war on the town, yet all the good guys think that it is not worth their time? What happened to all of the dragon's vast network? Why was there no mention of Peter or the other wizards who might be willing to help out? Because if the situation was not so desperate, Seph would not have to do stupid things to hold the sanctuary. I was dissapointed, I thought that the author went too far in creating a desperate situation. Seph is my favorite character and I was excited to read about his happy ending. I enjoyed the first 2 books so much I bought this one in hard back as well as audio. ![]()
